Fiber One Bars Oats & Chocolate, 5-Count Boxes (Pack of 12)

Good taste, texture, nutrition
One of the better bars I've found in terms of price, taste, texture, and nutrition. I've been eating them as "emergency snacks" as my pregancy progresses, and they do a good job. I really like that I'm getting a good portion of my daily fiber requirement (extra important for expectant mothers) in one serving: this is hard to do with highly processed "bar" type foods. And I like the fact it tastes like an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie rather than a sawdust or twig-textured health food. I noticed one customer said they made her sick: if you're not used to getting much fiber in your diet, jumping straight to your recommended daily allowance without a careful ramp up is quite likely to cause gastro-intestional distress. Be careful!

Better than a Granola Bar ... But Don't Go Overboard
These things are awesome. If you weren't told they had fiber, you wouldn't know it. They taste just like junk food should - but they're good for you, and relatively healthy. Just don't eat the whole box in one sitting - they aren't kidding when they say each bar has 35% of your daily fiber allotment. If you eat two, you're at 70%, and since today's processed/fast-food culture makes us lucky to hit 50% RDA for fiber, you WILL experience gastro-intestinal upset. If you get the munchies, hit the chips, not the fiber bars.

Great!
These make a great mid-day snack when combined with a piece of fruit. Not the best in terms of eliminating preservatives from your diet, but delicious. The only thing I would change is that they come in two packs - which means a lot of extra cardboard.

Not worth it!
They taste great, BUT one bar gave me VERY bad stomach pains and diarhrea for several days. Unfortunately I didn't realize it was the bar for a week. I just thought I was sick. Do a google search and you'll find dozens of people with similar reactions.

Great snack - 2 pts on weight watchers
Great snack - only 2 pts on weight watchers. MUCH cheaper if purchased in 30/box at... er... big chain warehouse store. Too bad - I love subscribe and save for other things, but the other place is still like half of what it costs on Amazon, even with the 15% discount.
Choc/peanut Curves bars (also on subscribe and save) are also a good WW snack - 1 pt. Similar taste to this, smaller slightly less dense bar.

Dr. Krackers-Sunflower Cheese
From my perspective the 6-7oz Krackers are slightly better in freshness than the smaller squares in the plastic tubs, as I have tried both. Hope this helps the Disclosureproject.org and Dr. Steven M. Greer. Peace.

Favorite Krackers :-)
Love these crackers...different than any others I've tried...and Amazon has them for the best price.
Rating :
just what I wanted
Taste is highly subjective. For me the combination of the firm cracker with the sunflower seeds and sesame seeds is excellent. I ordered a second set recently. I tried the ones with cheddar cheese and pumpkin seeds but did not like them nearly as well.
Rating :
Expiration Date
I love the crackers;however, I did not like the fact that I bought 6 packs of these and the expiration dates are within 2 months of the date I purchased them. I had to give some away because I could not eat - nor would I want to - that many crackers in that amount of time.

Meets my needs
Dr.Kracker has met my need for something crunchy and sightly salty while being an overwhelmingly healthy snack. I am on a weight-loss diet and have found that judicious use of this product in no way interferes with my goals.

Decent
For some reason I thought these crackers would be much better than they are. Maybe it's because I've never had "flatbread" before and I just found them extremely hard. The pumpkin seed and cheese is a good flavor combo, but I just don't enjoy the hard-as-a-rock texture.

What a tasty, great snack!
I love all the Dr. Kracker's product but this one is the best. They have right amount of cheese and right thickness. The taste is wonderful, of course, but I love them because they are healthy. They are perfect snack any time of the day!

Dr Kracker - sorry Amazon
Dr Kracker makes an excellent product; unfortunately Amazon delivers either the wrong product or one at or near the expiration date almost every time. Sorry Amazon; although your price point is good; I'll spend more at the store and get fresh products and the correct items from now on. Disappointed in Monterey.

Dr. Kracker
The crackers came to me quickly, they were extremely fresh; none were broken. I will definitely order these again. My grocery no longer carries this flavor, and it is my favorite. The supplier did an excellent job getting these to me in a timely and efficient manner!

This is an excellent nutritious product. I feel good about eating these and giving them to my family. Great taste.

denser and more solid than most crackers. just a little sweet. will hold up well to more substantial toppings. most satisfying crunch i've come across!

Healthy and delicious
These are so great! They are yummy plain, and yummy w/ spreads or cheeses. I like the slight sweetness. They're a perfect addition to an appetizer spread for when you have guests over. I find them addicting--worth every penny! Yum!

Crunchy goodness
Just what I expected...a cracker with wholesome goodness baked right in. Lots of seeds and tastes great with everything that I have put on it so far.

Customer Review :
Enjoy pasta without guilt
We can once again enjoy pasta and still feel good about the carbs we are eating. Dreamfields pastas cook and taste just like the high carb versions we used to eat.

Really good stuff!
Unlike other so-called healthy pastas that look and taste funny, Dreamfields spaghetti is delicious. No funny color, no weird texture or taste. You can't tell the difference between this stuff and Barilla or any other of the best 'normal' pastas. Except that it won't screw up your low carb or diabetic diet. You won't feel 'stuffed' or tired after eating it.
I love spaghetti...it's been my favorite dish since I was a kid, so I wouldn't recommend this if it wasn't the real deal. Eat up and enjoy!

Low-carb pasta that tastes like PASTA!
It is almost too good to be true, but the stix (Atkins followers will know what I mean) don't lie: Dreamfields pasta won't mess with your low-carbing (or your lipolysis).
I've low-carbed for the better part of 9 years, and this is one of the few low-carb products that not only delivers, it does so without any concessions. The taste & texture are spot-on, and the non-dieters in your family won't raise an eyebrow. Of course, keep it in moderation, but do give it a try.

Question : What is an easy high fiber food?
I'm a picky eater and I'd like a high fiber snack idea for work and maybe one for breakfast so I can stay full longer at work. I don't like "weird" food but I'm open to an suggestions.
Answer:
Wheat bread is always a good way to go. Beans are also high in fiber as well. There is actually fiber powder you can buy at the grocery store and mix into water that's colorless and tasteless that will help with food cravings. It also can be mixed into certain foods as well.

Question : What are some of your favorite high fiber dishes (meals and/or snacks). ?
I have to increase my fiber (Doctor's orders).
Thanks in advanced :)
Answer:
One of my favorite things is to dip carrots & celery into hummus, which is made from chick peas. They are high in fiber and ROCK!
Additionally, Nature's Own had a double fiber bread that has 5 grams of fiber per slice. If you make a sandwich for one meal, you'll have gotten 10 grams of fiber.
Good luck!

Question : What is a healthy high-fiber midday snack?
Besides cracker, peanuts, and fruit.
Answer:
Eat organic apples all day
The old saying is true – an apple a day keeps the doctor away. Apples are loaded with fiber and nutrients; they normalize your blood sugar and decrease your appetite. You should eat at least one apple every day. The more the better.

Question : Does anybody have ideas for high protein snacks?
I try to eat healthy, I am on weight watchers so I do the whole points thing. They recommend high fiber snacks, but I think I may have a wheat intolerance, also lactose intolerance. High fiber makes my stomach get all gurgly, sometimes even feels like hunger. I've been eating fruit or yogurt as my snacks. Before workout, I eat about 10 almonds (they are high in points so can't have more). Snacks like that work to quell the gurgly tummy, but I need more ideas. What are some good filling snacks, preferably protein (not cheese) that doesn't have to be cooked? I need to be able to snack discreetly at my desk.

Question : super high dietary fiber snack?
i need a snack or drink mix that is good for you and is very high in dietary fiber so i stay full all day
thanks alot
Answer:
Fiber one cereal has 14grams of fiber. The Fiber one bars are pretty good too, they have about 9 g. of fiber. I feel pretty full after them. You may want to increase your protein too. Oh, and drink lots of water- especially if you are taking fiber.

Question : Does anyone know some high fiber foods that are easy to take on the go?
I am always running around, between school and work, and I need to find something that is high in fiber that I can just grab and snack on while in the car. Thanks for any help!
Actually I am right, it is "fiber". You are thinking of the word "fibber" which is a liar. I looked it up in the dictionary. There is no such thing as "fibre"
I'm sorry, I'm in America and we say "fiber".
Answer:
By the way, if you were from England then you will eat 'fibre' in your automovile in your way to a Cricket game.
For quick snacks it is hard to beat dried foods like apricots, dates or raisins. Fresh fruit like orange, apple or pears can make an excellent snack.
Don't forget or be afraid of almonds, for snacks. Pack with fiber but also good fats and minerals.
If you have time to prepare food, then I would recommend baking your own muffins with whole wheat flour. I make mine and add wheat bran or oatmeal bran or flaxseed. Great source of fibre and nutrition are the legumes, like lentils, beans, garbanzo (chickpeas for you English!) Mix your legumes with brown rice and you'll have a great meal loaded with fiber and complete protein.
Another great source of fiber are avocados. I enjoy them sliced between whole wheat sandwiches.
In a coffee grinder I prepare a mix of flaxseed, almonds and sunflower seeds. This is loaded with a lot of good nutrition and fiber. I use this to sprincle on anything from yogurt, cereal, smoothies, salsas, etc. I put it in a little baggy and have it handy in places like the office, etc.
